I hope everyone's winter celebrations were full of warmth, light! In case you still have the itch to come to a party, you can join us tomorrow, Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 8pm at Grant Anderson's Studio 5N (302 E Federal St., Baltimore, MD, 21202) to listen to the delightful Duo Cortona perform pieces for mezzo-soprano and violin. The concert will feature a wide range of contemporary vocal settings, including my own settings of William Carlos Williams's poems, The Botticellian Trees. Here's a teaser of tomorrow's performance, where Rachel and Ari will perform the last movement of Laura Schwendinger's Shakespeare Love Sonnets.
